| What sites or places have the biggest store of recommended X64 software ... I found one ... but am in general search for another. What X64 "remote admin" or remote desktop software is there out there? | ||||||||||||||

| Symantec PCAnywhere works in a 64bit environment as well as RemotelyAnywhere.. I use Logmein (www.logmein.com) Its free and can be used from anywhere with a browser... Its not a resource hog.. its always on unless you set it to not be and its secure. You can also buy the pro version which has tons of features and as I said, its all web based and fast as well... I use it all the time and I have it on my PC at my shop as well as my parents machine to remotely work on it when something happens... Its 64bit compatible and I run it on two Vista 64bit installs.. :) | ||||||||||||||

| I myself prefer CrossLoop if the other computer is manned. It uses WinVNC in the background but uses an authentication front side so you need the code from the other side to login... Not sure if this is what you are looking for. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. | ||||||||||||||

| There are many many applications that work with x64 now since Vista is coming in both flavors right out of the gate. "For the good of all of us, except the ones who are dead..." | Still looking ... I have used and like RemoteAdmin since it is very fast ... but I don't want to spend the $50 for the 64Bit capable new version. I have done VNC but the speed was poor. I will be trying logmein ... however what I am looking for is an internal network admin software that is lightning fast. Also looking for a powerful uninstaller. [One that cleans more debris] I regedit all the time but prefer if I don't have to as much. | ||||||||||||||

| internal netowrking software for remote access? Use the built in Remote Desktop If you need to access the system as if you are local use the command line mstsc /console "For the good of all of us, except the ones who are dead..." | UltraVNC is only slighty slower than integrated Remote Desktop on the computers I use it... *shrugs* ![]() If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you? | ||||||||||||||
