Haha, have fun.... if you can! Is QEMU easy or was it a little difficult? And did you grab this from a disk or net? If net, where did you find it?

Initially, I tried installing it on my mom's computer (running Windows XP) so she could run some old programs, but trying to figure out how to use cmd was a PITA. It took me about five minutes on my computer.

It's abandonware, so you can legally download it here: Download Windows 3.1 by Microsoft | VETUSWARE.COM - the biggest free abandonware collection in the universe

Edit: I must note that I had to install FreeDOS first. I then created an ISO image containing ALL of the files from the 7 floppy disks, mounted it as a cdrom in Qemu, and ran SETUP.exe from FreeDOS. It's as simple as that.

I actually still have a 3 floppy disk set of Dos 6.22!!! Hell I should be able to install windows 3.1 along with 6.22!

Is that 3.1 or 3.11 for workgroups?????

i remember having an AMBRA computer with windows 3.1!

the best thing about that comp was the Windows 3.1 version of SNAKE!

IF I COULD PLAY THAT SAME VERSION AGAIN OMGGG!!!

I got it working easily in dosbox by moving all the files in one directory and simply making an ISO like you did in MagicISO. Mounted in DOSbox and away we go!
