|  Weird smooth font randomly shows up in Winamp  So for some reason this smooth font (top picture) randomly appears in Winamp, and I can't figure out what the deal is. I would actually like all my fonts to appear that way (the way it is in the top picture), but I dunno why it happens or how to make it happen. >.> Any ideas?    | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Weird smooth font randomly shows up in Winamp I think when the song Artist+title is beyond a certain length it changes the font to make it fit better. I've noticed that too over the years. | Re: Weird smooth font randomly shows up in Winamp I figured it out! It's cuz on Blue Oyster Cult its got a ø, which is a non-normal character. I tested it by putting a ø on a different song that has a normal font and it did the same thing. woo for solving! also figured out how to set it to always do that. Preferences>Skins>Modern Skins>Font Rendering> and for "font mapper" un-check the box that says "Keep Bitmap font in strings that contain only 7-bit characters" Last edited by Zambini; May 8th, 2008 at 12:41. | ||||||||||||||
