Default Vista and OpenGL - Pro apps left out in the cold?

Been looking at some performance comparisons between XP and Vista, most are about equal, gaming, encoding, etc...

The most disturbing are SPECviewperf tests which go through a few pro apps, Maya, 3d Max, Catia, solidWorks, which use OpenGL. They are much lower, 85-98% lower compared to XP! 98%!!!

Has anyone hear of any OpenGL drivers that will make OGL work natively with Vista? I remember reading something about nVidia working on beta drivers, plus I remember that MS said the OGL library was going to be included with VIsta.
