Default Vista~ Do i have the serivce pack?

How do i check if i have the service pack for Windows Vista? The reason i ask is because i tried to launch a game and it brought up a warning that i should get windows vista before trying to play their game.

Anyways, that is all :)

Start> Computer (right click and select "Properties")

Under "Windows Edition" and the Copyright information it will say "Service Pack 1"

INTEL QX9650
ASUS P5E3 Premium
4GB DDR3-1600
Sapphire HD 3870X2
Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C)

Just download it straight from Microsoft's website. Much easier.

apparently it doesn't pop up on the windows update if it detects hardware thats not compatible with SP1. I know I haven't seen it on my desktop, and its prob the GX2 thats causing it to not show up. I tried just installing it from microsoft directly, but the nvdisplay.dll driver just kept crashing with it installed.

(thanks blake!)

Click the image to open in full size.

Shortcut to the procedure Capper described above. I used to use it all the time to zoom to Device Manager tab, but now I just WINKEY+R "devmgmt.msc". :P
