hmmm, I have absolutely no reason to upgrade. ESPECIALLY when it is first released. The only reason I would try it would be for the cool new looks, but I would leave that in favor of useability, funcionality, and stability any day!

Yeah, how many people were still using MS Windows 98 SE when XP was released? I'm in absolutely no hurry, except for benchmarking systems.

Just don't feel like messing with all the bugs that will come with it.
Maybe after 6 months to a year when most of the bugs have been worked out.
I'll let the others be genipig on this one.

I'm not advocating a premature jump to Vista when it ships, but I did get a chuckle out of the above. That may be the first time since XP's launch that I've seen someone refer to it as not being broken. ;)

I feel like I finally have a pretty good understanding of Xp and know how to tweak it up real good so im not jumping ship just yet.. ;)

well, I know XP is crap, but so is all the other windows and I think vista is no exception, so I will refrase: I won't change from one crap (one that I can fix and tweak to be usable) to another.
if anyone wants something reliable and secure, should forget using MS all together.
