Default Shutting computer @ specific time

I want to shut the work computer at a specific time.
I thought of using "shutdown.exe", an executable included with Windows XP (%systemroot%\shutdown.exe) ina scheduled task.

However, it does not seem to work for some weird reason. I tried googling about it, no one seems to get this "error".
My cmd is "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 00".
When I go to Start->Run then type this it shuts the computer. The scheduled task is run under the admin account, the one always logged in. The schedule is alright, because sometimes I set it to 1 minute after the current time. I wait 1 minute then the "Next run hour/date" changes to tomorrow so I know it ran. Still the computer is running. =/ When I right click the task and select "Run" the computer does not shut. =/

It doesn't show any error message either. Anybody has an idea to solve my problem?
Thanks a bunch

Plug computer into UPS, plus UPS into timer, set UPS to shutdown PC when power is cut, set time at desired time

Haha! Thanks for the help guys, but you were useless. :P
Actually no jokerswild your first link made me think of something. The second link I already tried before, but when reading the first link I saw "enter password". I knew that, but my account has no password since it's a file server we just put it to auto login.
Your account NEEDS a password for the scheduled task to run. It won't work without a password. So I just created another useless admin account with a 1234 password and it worked.
Thanks a bunch! :D

(Also this file server folds proteins at night, without my boss knowing so that's why I need to close it before he comes in :P)
