Default Share your Keyboard and Mouse over a Network

I have 4 computers sitting at my desk, and I have monitors for all of them. I have been looking for a way to use the same keyboard and mouse on all of them. A KVM is to much of a PITA. Then this week I came across a great little program called Synergy. Synergy lets you use your keyboard and mouse on any computer on the network. You just install it on all of the computers you want to share your keyboard and mouse with. After a simple setup you can then move the mouse cursor across all the monitors just like it was a multi-monitor setup. You can also use hot keys to switch between computers.

I guess that's a great tool if you have many computers infront of you all connected to monitors that you need to use and whatnot, which isn't my case haha. Remote desktop does it for me. :P

Remote Desktop works great too. I have a total of 9 computers in my house so I use remote desktop quite often.

For sure. Remote desktop has to be one of the tech biggest helping hand sometimes. So much that I patch my Windows XP installs with a "terminal server" like hacked DLL so many users can connect at once, local or remote. This way you can fix things while someone is on it, how useful is that :D

VNC comes in handy if you have linux boxes like I do.

PS, where can I get that DLL? and can you use it in vista?

Yeah I don't have any Linux boxes to admin directly, as in "see the desktop" and all.
Gimme a sec for the DLL, else I can upload it for you. It's a "french" copy I've hacked myself but there's no difference between the french and english one. :P

Edit: Can be acquired here, checked DLL and both mine and his have same hash so it's all good.
