Default Safari for windows violates its own EULA

Apple forbids Windows users from installing Safari for Windows | The Register
Quote:
Apple's Safari license says that users are permitted to install the browser on no more than "a single Apple-labeled computer at a time." This means that if you install Safari for Windows on a Windows PC, you're violating the license.
Then they updated it

Apple grants Windows PCs the right to run Safari for Windows | The Register

Quote:
This means that Windows users fooled into downloading Safari for Windows are now presented with not one license conundrum, but two. First, they must wrap their heads around a EULA that tells them not to install a Windows app on a Windows PC. Then they must reconcile two contradictory licenses for the same piece of software.
wooo way to screw yourselves Apple!!

oh god. I went on my mom's computer yesterday to turn it off (it was late) and I noticed apple update was trying to install both Safari and "iPod+iTunes" (iTunes is already installed)

so I uninstalled apple updater.

Nice move. I uninstalled iTunes altogether today, I'm going to give Winamp a try. :)

Lol, that is funny. What I also found funny, was that when I went to apple's website to download safari, there were two options for safari for windows... although one of the options was actually safari for osx mislabeled, lol.

I do have to say though, this latest release of safari is growing on me. Still using firefox more than safari... but I've really been digging safari.

I have tried multiple versions since it was first released and each and every one has crashed on me in XP, each and every time so I stopped trying a few weeks ago

Yep, sligh little bastards, I installed the "Update" for Itunes the other day and got Safari installed unwillingly. Damn I really need to start paying attention.
