Default Recommended Software List

I've added a Recommended Software page to the site....We are dedicated to hardware help and reviews, but quite frequently we are asked for recommendations for specific software applications....so I've created a page with a variety of programs to get people started (and save them money).

Do we have a recommended sites list somewhere? I use Snapfiles http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/ for the large choice of freeware they have.

I've been having a great experience with Anti-Vir and it's totally free.

For a zip utility I really like ZipGenius even better than Winzip.

ZipGenius? I've never heard of it before. I like winzip, simple program. WinRAR is good too for opening any compressed file. Unfortunately some files cannot be unzipped using winRAR.
