NeXTSTEP 3 demo video

I just watched the NeXTSTEP 3 demo on Youtube. I never realized how advanced it was! :shock: It's very similar to OS X in that it has the Object Dock, among other things, and I really like its code-less programming tool. It was certainly ahead of its time!

Imagine if it HAD made it to the market.given the time frame, it could have beaten windows IMO.

You are probably right. God I wish there were two real, legitimate major players in the operating system market with wide support for hardware, games, and software!

This Video had to have been made in the early 90's. I am guessing 92, because he talked about President Bush and Ross Perot. You can read more about NeXT here. I used Sun Solaris in the late 90's, and it looked very much like NeXT.
