Nero Updates

Finally remembered to run an update of Nero 6 yesterday, and the old adage if it ain't broke, don't fix it still stands. Lost the zoom functions on my mouse and keyboard and The Gimp wouldn't even load. Fortunately all was easily restored and no data was lost or corrupted, but one has to wonder what sort of "updates" these things really are...

nero needs to revamp their updates .i think they have the worst update program where you have to use their clean tool

With Nero, I've always just let it go without updates unless I *really* have to have it. Then, I uninstall Nero and then install and apply updates before ever using it. Just seems to be one of those things Ahead Software just can't get right, but I use Nero pretty much exclusively for writing disks.
