Hey dude! Welcome! First try running both adaware and spybot. These will both detect and remove almost all spyware and adware. Also run a full virus scan. AVG is considered by most people to be the best virus scanner there is, and it's free!
After running those utilities, you should be good to go. If not, you might have your parents contact your ISP and have them test your signal. Good luck!

169 spyware infections! OUCH!
When you run AdAware and/or SpyBot S&D there should be an option after the scan is done to "Fix" or "Remove" the selected items. That should automatically take care of the infections. The next thing you'll want to do is run an AntiVirus scan too, just to make sure. Because with that many spyware infections, it is very possible that your defenses aren't good enough to prevent viruses either.
Then install a firewall (like Zone Alarm) to help filter out and block your network traffic.

If all else fails, a total reformat will usually solve any and all problems with laggy/buggy windows installs. But that is a hassle for most people and I wouldn't recommend that until you have exhausted all other options.

Oh yeah....

Welcome To HardwareLogic!

I'd also recommend Hijack This, and post the log file so we can try and decipher it for infections.

Hijack This is a GREAT program. It can be a bit hard to use at first, lucky for you theres an autoanalyzer out there.

Here it is:
http://hjt.networktechs.com/

Just copy and paste the log in there and analyze it. It will give you a detailed summary of what each entry is. From there you can check off what you want to remove.

Good choice on that simple!!!

I was going to make a post to help out, but I think for the time being Drew and Blake have really summed it up!!!!

Run these programs, they are probably the best that you are ever going to find :!:

DO NOT run out on the net and try to find other ones that claim that they can help!!!! What we have listed in these forums are tested and true!!! They are the ones to use, as they don't add a bunch of junk to your computer that you don't need. A lot of the so called "system fix, or registry cleaners" are no more than adware and trojons themselves!!!

I just cannot stress enough that the programs that you will find in these forums are the ones to use
