Default Microsofts Mojave Experiment

The "Mojave Experiment"

Mojave Looks Like a Mirage - Webmonkey

Quote:
Microsoft released dozens of videos from their Vista taste test trickery, each a mini commercial. The videos are browsable on a new microsite The Mojave Experiment, named after the operating system Microsoft claimed to be showing their interviewees.
Most of the videos show a user skeptical of Vista, who is shown some features from Mojave, and finally told they were using Vista all along. It’s pure beverage or household cleaner marketing, right down to the people that seem so real that they feel like actors.

like the other sites point out, everything was already setup.. they didn't let them try to join a wireless network or VPN or anything that people would actually use it for...

I may give Vista x64 a try again in the next month or two now that a lot of fixes are out but so far my experiences with Vista both at home personally and through work and other outlets have all been... well problematic...

I've been running Vista Ultimate x64 on my second machine for several months. Haven't had any problems with it so far.

Back to the subject at hand... Microsoft used its resources of trickery to get people to use Vista once again...
but one thing I really dislike, the failure to post the videos of people who disliked "Mojave"... of course thats not the point.. they only want positive spins...

I don't see how you can say its trickery, its advertising...Apple does the same exact garbage, every company does it. You're living in a dream world if you think every consumer good should be black/white. Why does Mcdonald's only show how "tasty" the big mac is, not how many calories it is in their ads? Why does Dell advertise their top of the line customer support, without tellin you the basic support doesn't include any of those features? Why does Toyota only talk about the MPG on their Rav4 at 25/27 which those are tested with a Base model 4cylinder 4X2 while using the 4X4 V6 Limited Model
