| dose xp media center have all the admin options of xp pro and is it possible to get a media center addon for pro??? |

| Functional Alcoholic | Close, MCE still doesn't have all of the network features, but if you don't use them you won't miss them. |

| T-Rex | It doesn't have remote desktop, one should take note of that. Sure, lots of people use whatever VNC but once you try remote desktop there's no comming back. |

| Functional Alcoholic | Thats not true, it does. I didn't think it did, but I just checked my wifes computer running MCE and it has remote desktop. |

| i meen dose it have that administrative tools folder in the control panel with all the same options as pro as i like that :) |

| Well let's see, when I network the computers; my computer running XP Pro is usually not accessable by anyone unless I password it, even though it's shared. My son's computer, I network, share, then find his machine using mine, no issues accessing stuff. Media Center to me is a fancy version of XP Home. Yes to remote desktop - system - under the remote tab - and all the options in admin tools. Wave Master: Gigabyte GA-7NNXP, Barton 3200, 1 gig PC3200, BFG 6800, Ultra X-Finity 600W, DVDRW, 750 Zip 80, 160 & 200 gig hard drives Dual Xeon folder: SilverStone SST-TJ05S-X, Gigabyte GA-9ITDW, Intel Xeon 3.2 Irwindale 800MHz x2, Geil 1 GB DDR2 PC2 4300x2, BFG 6600 GT OC, Ultra X-Finity 600W, DVDRW, Akasa AllInOne, WD Caviar RAID Edition 120x2, Win XP MC 05 |
