Default Linux Ubuntu help!!!!

I have Ubuntu feisty fawn on my other computer and want a little help. Is there a way to use .exe files in Linux? I have WineHQ "installed" on it and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Also, Ubuntu is posting a message saying the driver for my nVidia GPU is not activated. the card in question in the GeForce 6800. And how do you install the Kubuntu desktop? It's saying the kubuntu-desktop cannot be found.

Thank you to any one who can give me answers.

Nate.

Evidently, you don't have the .exe files associated with wine. Just right-click it, go down to the properties, and choose the open with, file association, or whatever the heck GNOME calls it.

As for kubuntu, open a terminal and do this:

Code:
sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop
We've been getting a lot of Ubuntu-related questions lately, so I'm going to post a tutorial on the homepage soon.
