Default Kubuntu

Hey guys,
i didn't see a thread for a linux distro called "Kubuntu"
it has plugins galore, and is very well kept-up-to-date
it's the distro we usually use at Left Click, and finally got it doing a dual-boot on my laptop.
once i further discover beryl, (the desktop manager) i'll take some screenshots of it for you folks to drool over
here's a short video of it i made with kelly, the owner of Left Click.

Is this just a KDE version of Ubuntu? I'l a linux ****, but just downloaded Ubuntu 6.1 and Fedora Core 6 to try out when I get a chance. I'd definitely be interested in reading about your thoughts on Kubuntu!

Looks cool, I'll have to try it. I think I already tried to install it but couldn't get it to work a few months ago.
Looks like Vista Aero, only better.

Beryl does a HECK of a lot more than Aero! ;) The only way to fully appreciate what it does is to try it for yourself. I'm running it, and it's quite nice, not to mention handy for multi-tasking. I'm not a fan of Kubuntu though, or KDE for that matter.
