Intel Application Accelerator

I am running raid-0 in my main and server system.
ICH9R
Abit IP35Pro
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4-Rev2

I typically don't bother with the Intel Application accelerator Matrix storage program ... and simply set up Raid 0 with the built in Raid App ... however I have never tested or read articles on its dynamic effect on speed with the Intel Application accelerator.

I have had it installed before and not really noticed a difference and it seemed more a monitoring program that simply used resources versus actually providing dynamic speed increases.

Please let me know the truth.

I've never actually used it myself, so I'm not qualified to make any comment.....but I'll give it a shot when I'm finished up with the memory kits I'm testing....hopefully this weekend
