Default Having a problem with passwords in FF2.0

It's buggin' the hell outta me.

Anyways, instead of normally staying logged in on sites (i.e. Gmail, Yahoo Sports, HL, NewCelica), it makes me log in every time. It's like if I go away for an hour, it makes me log in again. This didn't happen yesterday and I don't understand why.

I've tried clearing cookies + cache and even my saved passwords... no luck.

Any ideas?

Same thing with mine, 1.5.0.7; but for me, it happened during the forum change-over to vBulletin. It was in the prefs, altho I only cleared, it seems to clear on closing even though it's not checked to do that.

It's not the forum Rich, I use crazy browser here. I dumped the temp files, someone suggested a keyboard shortcut. Ever since then, my browser clears everything, even though the settings are back to normal.

I'm just gonna delete and reinstall FF. I don't think it'll help but it's worth a try.

No luck. Problem persists. I logged into HL like 15 minutes ago and then when I came back to the forum homepage, I had to log in again. The passwords are saved, but it doesn't stay logged in like it used to...

EDIT: ARG, this is really ticking me off. If this persists, I'm gonna end up moving to IE again. ARG!

Does that work?

Lemme check back with that in like 20 minutes.

EDIT: I checked that. It was set to keep cookies until I close FireFox. I changed it to until they expire. That should do it. It must have changed when I was figuring out how to reallow sites to remember passwords.

I'll still check back in like 20 min.
