Exclamation GIMP: Brush Help

Hi all, I just wanted to post up a help message because I've just transfered from using Photoshop CS2 to using GIMP and some of the actions I'm still a little hazzey on.

I'll probably have to post up more help messages in the future but for now the one thing that is truely bugging me is in Photoshop CS2 I was able to change the size of the brush I wanted to use, but in GIMP I don't know how to do this . Can some help me in explaining how to do this?

I would be much appriciative. There might even be a graphic gift for the person/s who help me.

Thanks.

Thank you for the links. They helped a little, but not in the way I was hoping they would. It seems as though the only time I can resize a brush is if I've made it. I'm actually wanting to resize a brush or brushes that I've downloaded.

Some brushes I use for Wallpapers and Banners, which I need them to be pretty big, but some of them I want to use for icons and I need to size them down, and that is what I don't know how to do.

Am I confusing people here because I'm confusing myself lol

Is this what I'm supposed to be getting? Everytime I click download it goes to this:

If you click here (CLICK ME), it should download the file. If not, right-click that link and choose 'Save Link As' and then save it to your desktop. The file is called resizebrush-1-2.scm.

Once downloaded, you need to put the file in C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts. If you have Gimp installed somewhere else, then navigate accordingly and find the scripts folder.

Load up Gimp, select your brush of choice, then navigate to:

>Script-Fu
>BrushUtil
>ResiZebrush

IT WORKS!

Thanks sooooooo much for your help, its much appriciated. I got so excited when I turned this wallpaper brush I had into a tiny Icon brush that the person on the other end of my phone laughed so hard, I guess I was squeeling lol.

Anyway thanks again it was a HUGE help even though I think I've done pretty well without this for the time being.

A created the Icon and Signature I'm using the other the day.
