well its a long story. You guys remember when i tried to mod my Ultra-d to sli but failed to do so and ended up destroying one of my pci-e slots? well i didn't seat the HSF properly on my northbridge. I also scratched the bottom part of the northbride :P As a result, i recieve high temps ont eh Northbridge. I tried bringing the voltage on the chipset down from 1.7v to 1.6v to try to repres the heat. However, it was still slightly unstable. I tried to bring it down to stock volts with a 300fsb and booted it. The comp gotr a blue screen and next thing you know, hello corrupted os. Now i have to reformat it and reseat my HSF. -_-" doh

Ouch, that hurts.
So, you have a SLI connector right? I need one. :P

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Bummer man, guess you'll be more careful with things from now on eh?
Sometimes it's good to just do a reformat anyway. I haven't corrupted my current drive, but I think I'm about due for a reformat soon anyway...

I wouldn't sweat it man. We learn alot by messing things up. You can guarantee you won't make the same mistakes over again. And Windows rots over time and it's a good idea to reformat once a year or so.
