Default Consumer Windows Vista pushed back again

Quote:
A REPORT SAID that the consumer version of Windows Vista is likely to slip further back than January 2007, a move that will anger hardware and chip partners.
According to Computer World Canada, Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft, said it would now be "early" in 2007.
The announcement, made in Tokyo, coincides with Microsoft's WinHEC bash - and the same report said Bill Gates was spending a lot of money to use multicore processors. µ

even if your not going to switch to vista, you would still want vista to come earlier so that newer tech can be released and new games can develope. More waiting means more waiting. lol

that wouldn't be good. LOL i want my dx-10 to come and debug and windows vista to debug and everything that comes along with teh new software to debug. If it gets pushed back, the debugging process will still take time.
