confusing video output

Ive made over 100 movies (burnt them) and have had absolutely no problems until I tried to burn The Song Remains The Same DVD; the video part of it is fine but I'll be damned if I can get the audio in the file to record. I can play it directly from my hard drive and everything works fine.After I burn it there's not a peep for sound. I know it's an mpeg format and everything else I've burnt has given me no problems until I burn this one video.
I have also noted that ome videos\dvd's I've done can hardly be heard and if it is it's time shifted, like it plays audio about 5-10 seconds after the video. My laptop is growing wings as I type so I'm out of options unless someone can tell me something new,it's gonna take flight!

Are you trying to play these in a particular application on the computer or in a standalone DVD player on your TV or something? What file types are you using? What are you using to burn the disks?

does your soundcard support dd5.1/DTS/DD2.0 or whatever the dvd audio is recorded in? If it doesnt support one of these you will get no sound or inaccurate sound.

About ten years ago, I had that on VHS, and some silly bastard stoled the damn thing

As you can well imagine, it really pi$$ed me off!!!!!

I have not been able to find it since!! (Of course, I really haven't tried real hard )
