Default Command line LOST

Here we go again with a stupid question.
Need to know what the command is to get windows to start when in recovery mode, Start with CD in and want to repair a system without losing all files and folders.
Seems brain has completely quit because just finished doing the same thing to a laptop a couple months ago and had no trouble with it.
Can get to the command line part of C:\Windows> and know it has to go to D:\ but what comes next to get CD to install Windwos?

Check out this page in the Microsoft Help and Support, does that answer your questions?

Been able to get that far and have read that page before starting.
Have a dual-mode with ubuntu and XP on different drives, XP has been hit by a trojan or something, when on XP satellite goes crazy and I can't get on-line but bandwidth meter is showing a DL of 142 to145Kbs. So trying to reinstall XP without losing my files and folders.
Can get to where I change from C:\ to D:\ but can't remember the command to start the CD to install XP from CD.

d:\setup.exe

or just set bios to boot first device as CDROM... you may want to get a ubuntu utility to backup the XP stuff, also run a virus scanner from ubuntu (such as clamAV) to get rid of any viruses on XP before reinstalling or backing anything up. It won't help to back it up, reinstall windows then pull in the backup files if the virus is still in your backup files.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Well all wasn't lost but Winds took a direct hit.
Had to reinstall XP, lost everything on that HDD but glad it wasn't much.
Forgot to save the MBR or Grub so had to do some investigating on how to redo Grub so could get that HDD back up and running, after reading much on the Ubuntu Forums found a very simle way to do from the "Live CD", get to desktop and get terminal open find the HD and partition set it to root and setup the HD and exit, reboot and Grub screen shows up with both HDDS there to pick from. Like when a plan works or almost works.

That line is to run the system restore feature in a Windows System from a command prompt. Me tends to think Unbuntu won't like it.

Yea seems that way but just in case Wins crashes again at least I've got that command safe where I can find it and try to get Wins back "again".
