| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | How do you change the windows theme? In your Control Panel, bring up the Display Properties. Themes can be found on the very first tab. An alternate method is to use a program like Windows Blinds, though I've had mixed success running that one. And how do you change the word on the "start" button? You can use a third party program such as TweakXP, or take the hands-on approach and follow these steps ---> LINK |

| I'm not sure anymore but he told me a few months ago. It has to do with replacing some files. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| Modder-ator | You just patch the uxtheme.dll file in the system32 folder so you can add in other themes (which you put in the Windows/Resources/Themes folder). Download and install the Multi-Patcher first. Then you can download themes (like CoolXP, which is my favorite) and just move the folder for the theme into the Windows/Resources folder and then, like sbohdan said, you can just pull it up and apply it in the regular Desktop > Properties > Appearance tab drop down list. Works great! :D |
