| T-Rex | Some of you might notice that sometimes the Avira servers are overloaded and cannot provide you with updates. As of today (June 27th) it has been more or less 3 days with random up and downs. A way to update your Avira product is by manual update. However, this option is a bit hidden and not everyone might know about it. First, you need the definition file: http://dl.antivir.de/down/vdf/ivdf_fusebundle_nt_en.zip http://dl1.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip http://dl2.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip http://dl3.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip http://dl4.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip http://dl5.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip http://dl6.avgate.net/down/vdf/ivdf_...ndle_nt_en.zip Try each, one after the other until you find a working one Second, open Avira Antivir main window and go to Update->Manual update: ![]() Select the file named ivdf_fusebundle_nt_en.zip. You do not need to unzip it. Your Avira product will validate the file and then proceed to install the updates. Voilą, your AntiVir is up-to-date! |

| Colonel Calamity | with mine I just let it run, it retries multiple servers and gets the updates from one of them... it may take 5-10 minutes total but it works fine for me... usually takes at least 2-3 minutes anyways since the update servers are somewhere in Europe. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |
