i actually used this for a good 6 months and it was really good but not par from windows defrag... just a lil faster by the seconds.... nice find though Joker...

It's what I've used for some time now. I haven't tried Auslogic to see how they compare though.

I agree with them. Although PerfectDisk is a commercial defragger and Auslogic and JKDefrag are freewares.

I just use 30 day trials of O&O Defrag, when i need to defrag

I use O&O....got tired of xp's defragger taking too long.

I tried Raxco PerfectDisk. It's true it's a good and easy program. Nothing very complicated, you analyse your drive and it suggests you what you should do next and you have 1 button (yes one!) that will do what was suggested when you click it. I didn't actually notice a speed improvement after defragging my system files like it suggested too, though. However I already optimized my system with bootvis earlier. ;)
