Default Any hacks or software

Anyone know of any hacks or software that will force V-Cast to recognize the label I make for a song or an MP3.

Problem is ... I have a Multimedia Bluetooth phone that sends the music to a bluetooth stereo headset.

My "songlist" is not seen as a particular list but track 1 etc.
Need to make V-cast see whatever label I put on it ... I have some studies that I want to put on it ... but need them labeled so they will play in some order.

LG VX-8350 is my phone Model. [Treo 700P is my other phone ... I haven't tried on it yet.]

I'm gona look into bitpim and see if it forces the issue.

So it doesn't recognize it by file name alone? You could try editing the metadata ("tags") of the music files with song title, artist, album, etc, maybe it recognizes that information.

Is there software that specifically edits the tags?

A quick Google search pulled up freeware called Mp3tag that might be worth a try. You can also edit the tags in Winamp too.

Thanks man.

Honest ... I usually search on my own and don't need so much handholding.

Been sick with the worst fever/shakes kinda flu I ever had ... for 7 days now.
Today is the first day I think my head is clear enough to do anything.

I'm sure thats not what Blake meant....we don't do the whole "Why don't you Google it".... I think he just meant he Googled it and saw that application. I've personally never used any program like that. i have an IPOD and and only use the real PITA ITunes.

Get better soon man!

Been using MP3TAG for all my mp3 tagging ventures (you'd be surprised how long manually cleaning tags in 600+ albums can be) and it's a wonderful program. :)

HAHA, yeah, I absolutely did not mean any condescending tone of my post. I was just telling you (in a round-about way) that I didn't really know of anything right off hand and found that program through a quick Google search; a disclaimer of sorts if you will. I'm always glad to help where I can.

Sorry to hear about the sickness!
