Default Zalman FC-ZE1 Case Review

Quote:
Over the past two years, enthusiasts have been bombarded with "Fatal1ty" this and "Fatal1ty" that.....ad nauseum. Unfortunately, the Fatal1ty marketing gimmick to this point has been pretty much that....a gimmick. While the products have for the most part been good, they have hardly lived up to the marketing hype.

Zalman hopes to break the curse with the release of its new Fatal1ty FC-ZE1 case. If initial impressions are in fact the most lasting, Zalman has not only broke the curse....its obliterated it.

Very nice review!

The case looks pretty good, but the Laser Etching kills it IMO, especially once Fatality loses his popularity and starts to suck at games and becomes an outcast....

Other then that, looks like a decent case..

I agree, the excess of the etching is a little overboard. But to their defense, it does seem to give the case an interesting "industrial" look. At least they used the HardwareLogic font!!!

It does look to be an incredibly well designed and built case though. I wish more companies would work this hard to make a case, but the price is a little out of hand. I guess you get what you pay for...

Nice write-up Rich although page 5 requires scrolling left to right to read. The case looks great but I agree the etching was way overboard.

I'm running at 1152x864 and Firefox 2 and I'm not having any issues. I'm also running Ubuntu at 1024x768 in Qemu and Firefox 1.5 displayed it perfectly. Opera 9.10 also displayed it correctly in both video modes. Gordon must be using large fonts.

Ok sounds like time for team kills. Running 1024x768 and the fonts are not that large but it was not a big issue just thought I'd give a heads up that the page was wider.

Yeah, at 1024x768 there is actually a little bit of a horizontal scroll bar. I think it's because those two stock Zalman images are 580 px wide and not the usual 500...
