Default Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000BWS Case Review

The Xaser VI is the latest offering in Thermaltake's popular Xaser series of full-towers, the flagship line of their cases. Today we will be looking at the Xaser VI VG4000BWS, a steel version of the case with a side window. Will this behemoth carry on the Xaser name in style? Will we be blown away by its features? Will Frank get a hernia from trying to carry it? Read on and see!

awesome review and nice note comparing price with TJ10... i dont really like the design and the color scheme, it have a lot of room though, enough to put the mcr320 Rad inside for your watercooling loop...

Nice review Frank! While I am not a big fan of Thermaltake cases, especially their Xaser line, I have a hard time seeing myself spend $250 on the Xaser VI which lacks a lot of the refinements that one would normally expect to see in a case this expensive. The fact of the matter is that if I am spending that much money on a chassis solution, the manufacturer needs to pull out all the stops and go that extra mile, which, in this case, means not building a case entirely out of steel.

One could make the case that purchasing a Lian-Li PC-A70 would be more cost effective than the Xaser VI, as it is not only cheaper, but is made entirely out of aluminum as well.

Very nice case and good review -- a bit too over the top for me I like more conservative styling for myself but I certainly wouldn't turn it down! It would certainly be better than the superlanboy I have had for 3 years now.
