Default PSUs needed for older PCs

I need couple old but reliable PSUs for a couple older AMD systems (1Ghz & 1.5Ghz) If you have any suggestions, reply with the links. I will look on pricewatch and ebay for some, but if you have any recommendations I would like to hear them.

Here is a 350 watt Antec. That should be more than enough power, and very reliable.

I can vouch for the Antec. They are solid power supplies. I know FPS Justin has had one for a long time but recently upgraded. He may be looking to sell so you might want to contact him.

I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

I have a 500 w psu that I pulled out of a xion case. I wouldnt trust it with my computer tho(too much power consumption and expensive parts) but you are welcome to it.

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

Whenever instructing someone to open up a power supply (particularly on a forum dedicated to serving new users and upcoming enthusiasts), there really should be a disclaimer about the risk of shock/death. Power supplies can still hold a significant charge, even when turned off and unplugged, so always proceed with caution if you must open up a PSU, especially if poking around inside.

An alternative way to catch a glimpse of the manufacturer is to look up the UL code that's likely plastered on the side label:

Power Supply Manufacturer Article
UL Online Certification Directory

And as a general rule, the weight of the unit can also be indicative of quality, though it's not a definitive measure. For the most part though, if a unit is light as a feather, there's a very good chance that it's crap.

Woops..big mistake there...Can't believe I forog to mention that considering my grandfather is a master electriction >.<......Just looking through the vents can usually if a PSU is good too. If the heatsink looks like an oversized T or an F, and its rated for over 400 watts. Its a piece of junk and shouldn't be let anywhere near a rig you value.

Exactly, a poorman's method of a power supplies worth has always been weight.....but i believe in sticking with known brands....ANTEC, Fortron, Enermax, etc......putting a cheap PSU into your system is just asking for trouble.
