| The time has come for Revenge of the Nerds!
| ![]() One of the early participants in the modular movement, OCZ's ModStream line brought detachable cables to their PSU lineup. Lacking the overall power of it's wired brothers made it ill-suited for high end setups, but the same can't be said about OCZ's new ModXStream line. Today we look at their 780W model and put it to the test with a bevy of high end components. Can it hang, or should OCZ hang up their modular hat? - Paul Lilly Read More... | ||||||||||||||

| Very nice review. Seems like a solid PSU. Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL | 2GB G.Skill 800MHz | EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Silverstone Decathlon 650W | Western Digital 250GB SATA II | ||||||||||||||

| idd great review, could you make a similar one using the same system specs but with the Decathlon 750W ? I cant find a single review with a proper top end computer like the Quad Core you used. :/ | ||||||||||||||

| I don't have formal rail measurements for you at the moment, but the Silverstone Decathlon 750 is currently hooked up to the same testbed and running stable. It's a unit I previously reviewed on a dual-core foundation, but with the same two videocards in SLI. In short, they're both solid modular units. | ||||||||||||||
