Unhappy Newbish question

It's been a while since i have really kept up with the computer hardware world. Now that I'm done with school I have been looking to upgrade my system.

One thing confuses me though, when a video card says that it requires XX amount of amps on the 12volt rail are they meaning the amps of each rail or of all combined 12volt rails?

What i am wondering is if this PSU will power a 7960GT 512 AGP card.

I would have thought that psu should be alright. its quite a meaty 12v for a 500w so I would think so

Yea, that would be a great powersupply!!!
Thermaltake has a great products, and that would be more than enough for a 7600gt!

And, Welcome to HardwareLogic!!!!!:hel lo:

Um, 79xx. They don't make a 7960GT!!!!!!!!!! (Unless I'm missing out.)
I assue you mean the 7950GT. If you do, I would say yes, that PSU has enough juice.

Oh yeah, welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
