Default Fortron FX700-GLN 700W All-In-One Power Supply

Quote:
Power Supplies are easily the most underrated system component there is. Most users tend to look at one thing only when considering a new power supply....wattage. While wattage is important, the amperage, more specifically the 12V rail amperage, is the most important thing to consideration when picking a new power supply. Overall wattage, and 12V rails aside, another often overlooked aspect of power supplies is the amount of connectors a power supply features.

thats an awesome psu but 700watts is alot of power. If i ever need a new psu i'd prolly get a 550-600watt one.

thanks guys. PC Power & Cooling makes great PSUs, but they quite simply are not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend more than $200 for a PSU to anyone, with the $175 this one costs about the max

I also agree, 1KW is just overkill no matter how you slice it. I think I would take the FSP 700W Epsilon over the 1KW PCP&C actually...

:O

If they were both offered to me for free... i would certainly take the PC Power and Cooling.
