Make sure you check out our Recommended Hardware lists.

Tell us about the system you have/are going to build, so we can make a good recommendation.

Off the top of my head, I'd strongly recommend the ANTEC SONATA II, which is a very good case that comes with a decent PSU

INTEL QX9650
ASUS P5E3 Premium
4GB DDR3-1600
Sapphire HD 3870X2
Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C)
5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5
BFG ES 800W PSU

As for a case, I would recommend the Lian-Li PC-60. It is of a simple design and has very good ventilation. I am planning of getting one for my next build also.

DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL + Thermalright HR-05 IFX
2GB G.Skill 800MHz F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB

Well my thoughts seem to run with those of Capper. Really need to well define what exactly you plan to get done. Thinking also need to define the word "Budget". Would budget be a $29.95 case and PSU? Maybe a $59.95 case and PSU or a $129.95 case and PSU? The term budget can vary from person to person.

We need to narrow things down just a tad. :)

Also, what do you consider "best"? What attribute concerns you the most? Looks? Price? Size?

I have used the following cases a lot.
Antec NSK 4400 Black/Silver 0.8mm cold-rolled steel construction ATX Mini Tower Computer Case 380W Power Supply
Antec NSK4400 is a solid case with nice room for work, the PSU is a solid unit that will handle anything not pushing heavy gaming hardware. The case looks good and is fairly quiet.

In fact Capper I would suggest this case might be considered for the budget build machine.

well the config. I have right now is just a Motherboard mATX was going to use the stock dell case but after looking at some cases on newegg.com and seeing some with LEDS I'm thinking of swing towards one of them doesn't have to be a big case just one to hold 1 optical drive and 2-3 HDs (business purposes) and has enough room for expansion with alot of FANS as that was what happened to my gateway and my dell they over heated. and the best PSU I can get on a budget.

We've looked at several ANTEC cases, and have several more coming in over the next couple of weeks.

I'm a big fan of the Sonata II, excellent build quality, quiet, pretty cool, and it comes with a good PSU....for under $100.

The Sonata III is basically the same case, just some modest improvements, better PSU, better looking.....it should be out in mid to late May
