| I recently purchased a Antec900 case and I am looking for a PSU to go with it. I have looked into the OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply, I am still not sure if that is the right one. Of course for those of you that don't know the power supply is located on the bottom of the case.. Anyone have experience with this case? and what do you suggest? FYI.. In the future I do plan on going SLI.. So far my new system consists of the following CASE (antec 900) GPU (EVGA 512-P3-N841-A3 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) Thats it.. had originally bought my video card for my dell E8510 system, that came with an AMD x600 video card and couldn't get it to fit without making any major modifications. So I decided to upgrade my case to find out that Dell's components are proprietary. ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| ah yes welcome to the realization that OEMs really are crap for system builders... and it is possible that the Dell used AGP and not PCIe... so you sounds like you need the entire system since you can't use the board or power supply... the only thing that may be usable is the hard drive(s)... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | System from dell was definitely PCIe. Yes, I do have to build a whole new system which is alright my son will benefit from my dell system since it is only a year old. | ||||||||||||||

| In terms of size, the power supply should fit. I have the same case and my 600W GameXstream fits just fine, didnt have any problems with cable lengths or anything | ||||||||||||||

| Yea, I was just curious on cable lengths.. I hear a lot of bad information about only buying modular for this type of case. Just wanted to hear other opinions.. thanks | ||||||||||||||

| The GameXStream is an amazing PSU - I'm using one myself until I go to either an Enermax Liberty 620W or Corsair HX Series 520W (both modular because my next beast is gonna be in a Thermaltake Lanbox - horrible friends with the GameXStream). In terms of your Antec 900, the GXS is an amazing choice. If you live in Toronto, I'm gonna be selling mine soon. In any case, that will work great, also the Antec that Manta reviewed is an AMAZING power supply - and is modular. Check out my PSU Knowledge Guide/Article. It should help. | ||||||||||||||
