Default Antec P190 + 1200 Case Review

Our first experience with the Performance One dates back to the P160W, which now stands out as an aberration in a series that took a turn towards elegant aesthetics and quiet computing. The metamorphosis began with the original P180, a chassis we felt had potential, but ultimately described as a "time sink" in terms of installation. Then came the P182, which brought with it an effective cable management scheme, but left us hot under the collar with its ho-hum cooling potential.

Can the P190 + 1200 finally silence our criticisms and emerge as the chassis we've been hoping for from the Performance One series?

Wow, very nice case.... I may have to think about getting this in the future.... it looks like a good case for watercooling!

Very nice review Paul!

BTW, I just posted a link to this review on another forum

HAHAHA

Anyway, that's a pretty nice case, looks like Antec is finally getting the hang of their "Performance" series case line. Thanks for the review Paul!

I'd buy the version that is cheaper and sans the PSU's.
Never had much luck with Antec PSU's, and have no plans
to start buying them again anytime soon. I do like that
case though.

$399 for the case and two PSU's? I'll pass. Drop it down
to $199 w/o PSU's and I'll step up to the plate.

Nice review and sweet case.

I really dig the snake light, what a bonus. The case is beautiful and I'm sure it preforms well. I might buy the case this spring for my new WCing install, but buy the model without the PSUs, because it's not really the optimal solution for my uses. My 54A Single 12v rail Silverstone 650w even has the 8-pin PCI-E unlike these PSUs..

Two of the four PCI-E connectors come with 8-pins (6+2). The other two are the standard 6-pin variety.
