| just a question for anyone who has built a computer with the antec nine hundred... how quiet is the case? i figure with all the ventilation in the front judging from the pictures it would be fairly loud... is it wrong of me to assume this? |

| Good ol' caps has a nine hundred, and we have a full review here: ANTEC Nine Hundred Case Review According to the review its nearly silent until you go up to full speed. Expect a fair amount of dust however. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! | I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | The TriCool fans Antec uses in their cases (including the 900) are great. On my P180, it's about silent when set to low, and still pretty damn quiet when on medium. |

Actually even on High I don't ever notice it, I have all the fans set to medium, though on one of them I had to tighten the screws, else it would rattle. And the rubber grips for the HDD makes my HDD so quiet its scary - sometimes I wonder if its really spinning! Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! | T-Rex | I have the Nine Hundred too. On low it's very silent, I can sleep with it and i'm very bitchy about noise. For a fact, I downclock my X1900XT so I can put the voltage lower (produce less heat) so ultimately I can slow down the fan when I sleep. You get the idea. :P Even with all fans on low this case is an awesome performer, but as any other 900 owner I can tell you dust is my worst ennemy. So much fans but no filter. Grr. |
