Default The Antec 300 and my PSU

I'm interested in purchasing the [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042&Tpk=Antec%2bThre e%2bHundred]Antec 300] from Newegg. However, I notice that this case requires you to bottom-mount your power supply. I currently have an OCZ GamerXstream 700w power supply with a fan on the bottom of it.

My concern is, will I be able to mount this on the bottom of the case with no issues (provided that all the cords reach and such) since there is a fan on the bottom?

And no, I don't want the Antec 900 or 1200, don't like the looks of it.

Thanks for the help.

most of those cases flip it upside down so the fan pulls from the inside or some even have a vent in the bottom of the case to pull air from the outside...

looking at the pics of that case and the PSU screw mount holes, it should work either way

Thanks HL and Corsair!

The 12V 4/8 pin connector is a UBER stretch on my build since the connector is at the top. My 900 is modded so it runs behind the board, if believe you might have difficulty. You're better off buying an extension for it, other than that I haven't had any problems in the last year with my build. ;D

Edit: And yes screwbie, you can mount it any way. I have my fan on top, but I could mount it the other way around. It just wouldn't serve any real purpose to be sucking on the air at the bottom. From the way it's set up currently at least it sucks some hot air out from the X-Fi and a bit from the hard drive I believe.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Where can I get one of these extension cables (my 4/8 pin connector is at the way top too).

I looked at Newegg but didn't find much.

I believe newegg has some, but sometimes the names for them are funky. Give me a sec haha. :P
Edit:
There's this extension kit
Newegg.com - Silverstone 6" ATX extension cable kit Model PP04 - Cables

Yeah, I know it's a bit on the pricey side for a few wires and a connector, but you'll be thankful you don't have to stretch your power supply cords to reach it. I got the same power supply as you, in a 900 if you didn't know. :P
