Yeah, it's 2 dual layer DVD's. It doesn't take 50GB to install though. Maybe only the Direct2Drive version needs this, since it probably needs to download the 13GB (that's what the game DVDs weight) and then install it (temp files + installation files).

Edit: Specs:
Minimum requirements:
Windows XP
Direct 9.0c
Pentium 4e 3.06Hz or Athlon 64 3000+
RAM 512 Mb or 1Gb
Graphics Card: GeForce 6800/Radeon x1300 or above
DirectX Compatible Sound Card

Recommended:
Windows XP/Vista
DirectX 9.0c & DirectX 10
Intel Core2Duo 2.66HZ or Athlon X2 3800+
2Gh RAM
Graphics Card: GeForce 8800/Radeon x1950
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-FI

I watched the clip and it looked a little arcadish. The description of the gameplay sounds really cool though with all the gunplay and stunts.

only gonna be good if the soundtrack is Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" If it doesn't have that then it is gonna be crap.:)

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

That is just nuts. I would not allow any game to take more than 5-10GB after it is installed. Maybe in another few years with DX11 and hyper-spacial dual-hydroglyphic video card setup for HL3 would I allow it but until then, no thanks. Even now, my entire "Steam" folder with HL2, CS:S, HL2DM and the SDK still only takes up 9.13GB of my hard drive space. This is with at least 100-150 custom CS:S maps.

Quote:
Stranglehold requires 50GB of free hard disk space during the installation process but, once installed, the setup files can be removed or stored elsewhere. If installing Stranglehold to a secondary drive, your system's primary drive requires 20GB of free hard disk space during the installation process.

Thanks HL and Corsair!
