Check it out ! StarCraft II

StarCraft is probably one of my all time favorite games, pretty nice to see it getting a sequel finally.

Wow, interesting. I have the original Starcraft but could never get into it. The graphics were almost so bad I could hardly tell what the different units were. Maybe this game will be enough to top my favorite RTS game (Emperor: Battle for Dune).

FINNALLY.. i love starcraft but it lags with this new router unless I host the game......
only taken them 10 YEARS to get this ready. Yeah starcraft blows away other RTS's in my eyes. Hope they keep the 'use map settings' in and the campaign editor for fun maps.

I bet Koreans are ecstatic about that. When I was in Korea, thats the only game those guys would play.

Am I right in thinking they broadcast games on TV there aswell? I went on the asia once server and got killed every time

When I was there they had Internet Cafes dedicated to Starcraft tournaments. You could pay by the day.

wow.. starcrafting for 24 hours asnot to waste a full days payment would kill me. But its a great game because all the races are perfectly balenced forcing the game down to pure skill

Ditto. I always liked StarCraft, I remember playing it so often. Not honestly looking for the sequel though, I have no time to play games anymore. Just 2 days ago, it was the first time in a few months I played a 3D game. :\

The fact that they have videos of the game makes me think its almost done, but a couple of weeks, even days, this was just a rumor. so how close is this game from being finshed?
