MAn I can't wait to play it. Screen shots are insane. No way in hell would I play that on a DX9C system, about as useless as tits on a basketball.
I still need to save some more money for a DX10 card. I really want to wait for R600.....

I don't see much difference from Far Cry to tell you the truth. The video was crappy and the screen shot wasn't any better.

I agree that it looks good, but it's not only DX10 responsible. Today's computers are more powerful and the developers just dumped a lot of high-poly models everywhere to make it more realistic.
The only question is, who will be able to run this at that quality with reasonable frame rates?

I posted here a DX9 demo app somewhere a while back that showed what DX9 can do, it was made back in 2003-2004, and it shows that DX9 is more than capable of doing things that I still haven't seen in games.

Any PC with Core 2 Duo and a DX10 high end card will play Crysis with good details. A high-end DX10 card runs 500 beans. I am waiting for R600.
