|  Sins of a Solar Empire Hey guys, anyone playing this? I just picked it up yesterday. Didn't have much time to play for an extended period, but it seemed pretty interesting. I have been a fan of a few of these games, the only one that really kept me going for any length of time was StarFlight for the Sega Genesis... loved that game. Thanks HL and Corsair! | Re: Sins of a Solar Empire Hmm, haven't played supcom... but it is pretty epic. When you have 2-300 ships duking it out in 3 different places at once (like 900 ships total), it's pretty epic. Slow enough to not overwhelm you, but fast enough to keep you engaded. Research takes forever... 6-7 hours wasn't enough for me to get through the whole tech tree, lol. (well, both of the tech trees... I got through the warfare one, but I still had the economy/tech tree and the supply/logistics tree to go through, lol!) e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Sins of a Solar Empire wow cool! SupCom has the same basic trees for all factions (3 levels and an "experimental" level 4). But you can have over 1000 units marching/driving/flying across the map for domination... and you will likely lose at least half the units in a well fortified base... of course get a few experimentals in there and they typically don't stand a chance..
