Those crazy japanese! Hard disk looked cool, and the heatsink, even though 99% of the PS3 owners will never actually see it, looks kick ass.

Crazy screwdrivers also.

EDIT - Ty, I would be careful too when disassembling a $600 product!

EDIT2 - Read the comments a youtube. The stupidity of the comments at youtube never cease to amaze me.

Or they can mod it to hell and back!

Don't forget, they video taped the whole thing, so they can just go back and review it. Chances are they won't put the whole thing back together. They might put it in a shoebox!

they showed the power draw on another one, it was 191watts, cant remeber if that was idle or load though.

I'm wondering something though.....I know I saw at least 2 processors (or so I think, they had TIM on the chips) and what looked like 2 more (1 in the upper left-hand corner, 1 in the lower right) but without TIM....what are those other two chips? btw, that's a *****in' heatsink.......imagine modding something like that to an AMD or Intel chip, rofl.....jeez.

thats would be a good hsf for a SFF case and customized setup.. i am sure we will see linux put on a PS3 anyday now
