processor questions

okay so im going to be gaming on my new computer.
and i was just wondering with all the new games requiring a 3 ghz processor and such. will i be able to play the games with a c2d e4300? or will i require one of the pentium d's at like 3.2 ghz?

i will be getting a video card and all the other necessary things. just didnt know too much with the processor and what it needs to be. . .

You'll be fine with a C2D or AM2 Dual Core processor...people will definitely try to upsell you on anything they can.

your C2D at 2ghz could prolly beat the crap out of some pent D at 3ghz.
