Default Perplex City

I don't know how many of you have been keeping tabs on this, but there's finally been a winner after 2 years.

Perplex City.

Admittedly, I haven't kept track of this game for the last few months, so it was rather cool to read about the ending of it on another forum.

That's neat, but who has the time to devote to something like this?
I can see playing for the puzzles, etc, but to actually go out and buy cards or search Ebay for them sounds above and beyond what should be expected... but then again, I don't think it was meant to be easy.

Gamers from over 90 countries played, I wonder how many would actually take the trip to the UK to uncover the treasure.

It's also odd that the creators of the game didn't hide the treasure somewhere less obvious, in another European country for example.

Yeah really, hiding in the same country? Not the best idea ever. Lol. But it sounds fun.

I'm glad to see that someone actually won the thing. The makers of Perplex could have ran that game indefinitely, sucking more money and time out of the players without any idea that they were being scammed.

I agree though. Hiding the treasure in the same country that made the game is a bit ghey.

They should have buried it in the middle of a street in downtown Baghdad. Then they could have made a reality show out of it.

I think it was more so that they could check on the cube, ya know to make sure some guy just doesnt happen to find it on his way out to kill some people or drop a body. Ya know for insurance purposes or something like that

Hmmm, interesting. I had never heard of Perplex City until now. Guess I missed a lot! HAHA
Anyone have a link to a picture of the location it was found at or a picture of the cube?
