Default Multicore Gamer

I hope I'm not being redundant here.

I'm looking for a site that shows games that work better with multi-core Processors ... specifically 4 cores.

Or recomendations of games that you are certain that utilize the threads of multicores under Windows XP.

Or games that will be coming out or made multicore ready.

I play BF2142 now ... will investigate into Crysis ... but would like to narrow down one or two Games that can take advantage of my new build.

I prefer FPS action online games.

Alan Wake will be the big title to use multicore, dual core is actually minimal and quad recommended.
STALKER ultiziles two cores now in the latest patch. I believe Quake 3 and 4 and anything else with the new Source engine. Unreal Tournament 3 will be too. Not much into shooters, so thats what I can think of off the top of my head. For non-shooters, Supreme Commander can use all the cores on a Quad, and Oblivion supports dual cores.

Wow ... thanks ! If there are any more ... please let me know. Especially sites that cater to the Quad core Enthusiast.

This is the best direct comparison I could find for ya, hopefully it helps...
Tom's Hardware: Parallel Processing, Part 1: CPU Cores

As you can see, there is a little benefit of getting a dual core over a single core, but almost no benefit to quad core over dual core. For gaming, it still remains that it is better to spend $100 on a faster video card rather than $100 on a faster (or more core'd) processor.
