Aces High II

Funnest game ever, incredibly realistic, and when you register you get 2 weeks of arena combat greatness. You can play in the 8 player online arenas for free indefinitely, but the 300+ player arenas a sub only after 2 weeks. Then there's offline practice.

Best of all, the game itself is free :D

Welcome to Aces High II

Default Re: I need a plane game

are they the same complexity as LOMAC or are they more user-friendly?

Cuz LOMAC is ridiculously realistic when it comes to the plane's workings. The user manual is 134 pages. I know its no Falcon 4.0 [that is what I call Ludicrous] but its still hella complex. =/

Ok.... I installed Aces High and its all borked graphically.....
Click the image to open in full size.

how does this get fixed? I'm gonna mess with some settings..... but its borked either way. The main screen is all flickery and the mission practice page is borked too.

I have ForceWare version 93.71

pacific fighters, IL2 Sturmovik and IL2 Sturmovik:Forgotten Battles are more user friendly than LOMAC, but mostly because your flying WWII aircraft. i would categorize it at a 4 (out of 10) in complexity

Not sure, reinstall the game. You didn't cancel the caching when you first ran the game did you? if you minimize it, it will cancel the cache and will probably bork it up. And don't worry, that cache process is a one time thing
