| No Sanity, no problem. | I posted this in another forum and I'm interested to see if you guys feel the same way. The topic in question is HL2. Do YOU feel it was overrated when it was released? | T-Rex | Yes. Simply put I think there was a horde of HL1 fanboys awaiting the release of HL2 so even if HL2 would have been the most deceiving and boring video game mankind ever played, it would have still been a hit (not as much, but still a hit). Graphically the game is very pleasing but it didn't reach me as much as other games which didn't have such an elaborate story. Valve saw the loot they made with HL2 and just worked on various expansions. Feels good to live life like Valve. ;D |

| The game is stunning, especially with the High Definition texture mod (it uses 512MB cards to the fullest). Of course, it doesn't have a perfect plot, it's a videogame! But still, the fact that it has a discernible plot is a feat in itself...sadly many videogame makers think they can hide behind a fancy graphics engine and sell a lot. |

| I liked it and I never played HL. The graphics were excellent and the story line was good. The biggest problem with it is that after you finish it the second time thru is not nearly as good but thats pretty much the same with all story type games. |

| I'm Diggin it! | For a FPS, the graphics alone contributes to the replay value. The game is awesome; both aesthetically and mentally engaging. I find myself loading it up every few months to run through it again. ![]() Q6600@ 3.2GHz w/ CNPS9700 | EVGA 780i | 2Gb Corsair DDR2-800 | EVGA GTX 280 1Gb Video | 1x WD 640Gb HDD, 2x Seagate 400Gb HDD, 1x250Gb WD | 2x Samsung SH-203B Opticals | Antec 900 | ABS/Tagan BZ700 700W PSU |

| BAM-BAM | I have been playing this game fortthe 2nd time around for about the last month. I just wanted to play it with all the eye candy turned on, the first time I played it was with a 9600xt. But yes I think its one of the better games that I have ever played. But I must say FEAR is better. -1 |
