Default A good Gift?

anyone know a good fps game for a birthday gift? Something that is good but doesn't have insane computer requirements?

EDIT: I might be able to post their computer specs later tonight.

CS 1.6 no doubt. Almost every pc today can play that.
Almost any of the Unreal series is good too.
Try Half-life too. Thats a classic and extremely cheap and still widely popular.

I know blake still plays a mod of it.

Not surpised.

Call of Duty 1 rocks my socks too. And again, any of the Unreal series (Unreal Tournament) would be really good and you don't need a fast computer to play it.

Yeah, the original Half-Life is not resource intensive at all and is definately a classic. It's pretty hard too! (or maybe I just suck )
And as Tyreal said, there are still some popular mods for it, although they are losing popularity with HL2 becoming so popular. Even Half-Life 2 can be played with a pretty modest system, you just can't turn on all the eyecandy.

I would suggest HL2

OH man. Doom 3. That game has been out for a while now and its really fun. If you don't mind taking a crap on your computer seat then go for it.

I really liked Medal of Honor too...

The Delta Force games were pretty fun too! I remember many a late night gaming session playing Delta Force my freshman year!

DELTA FORCE. OMGZ! I played Delta Force 2 for so long when i was younger. Then i met this dude, and he sent me a hack, and then it wasn't fun anymore. Knife hack, speed hack, automatic rocket launcher hack, you name it, i had it.

Medal of Honor was pretty fun, never played the full version but i liked the demos.
